Although the group was primarily set up for users of the Mammotome breast biopsy device, our remit is to assist in the education of all users of vacuum assisted biopsy in the UK
Last Users Group meeting was held in Manchester at the new Nightingale Centre in the Wythenshawe Hopital grounds, in September 2007.

As a consortium of UK users with experience of the procedure, we decided to get involved in the development of breast biopsy guidelines with particular emphasis on vacuum assisted biopsy - it's role etc
